Pickup day

Puppies go home from our house in North Fort Worth once they're old enough and have had their first round of vet care. We'll walk you through feeding schedule, any habits specific to your puppy, and answer questions in person rather than rushing the handoff. Plan for this to take a little time — it's not a drive-through pickup.

What you'll leave with

Every puppy goes home with AKC registration paperwork, records of vaccinations and deworming completed to date, a written health guarantee, and a copy of the health testing behind their parents. We'll also send you home with a small amount of the food your puppy has been eating, so you can transition gradually rather than switching foods on day one.

The first 48 hours

Keep the first two days low-key. A new home, new smells, and a new routine are a lot for an eight- to ten-week-old puppy to process at once. Limit visitors, keep other pets introduced slowly and on neutral terms, and expect a rough first night or two — that's normal, not a sign anything is wrong.

Vet visit

Schedule a vet visit within the first few days of bringing your puppy home, both to establish care with your own vet and to keep vaccination and deworming schedules on track. Bring the records we send home with you.

We're still here after pickup

Questions don't stop at pickup day. If something comes up in the first weeks or months — behavior, feeding, health — call or text 817-709-1336. We stay in touch with our puppy families well past the sale, not just up until the deposit clears.
